It’s that time again! Bad Bible Bits!

Based on the house of commons vote last night, i decided to find one thats a bit more topical. A favourite you might say!

#3 “If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives.” (Leviticus 20:13)

The same book that forbids haircuts, talking to women on their period, eating shelfish and pork. Funny how they forget that shit eh?

Never forget to ignore the rules laid down by immortals.

Anonymous asked: Friend, Psalm 137:8-9 is about the destruction of the nation of Babylon, foe of the Israelites. What does context even mean if you pull quotes without any description of the author, their intention and their given situation? Why don't you study the Bible as well as critique it?

I believe that if the Bible is for the benefit of all mankind and  God’s word is eternal then the context ought to be irrelevant.

God clearly has no idea what the words ambigous and posterity means

Better than most quotes, i think this one exposes the idea of a kind and loving God as a recent invention.

Bad Bible Bits

Morning!

Recently, a couple of friends of mine have been approached by some religious nutjobs, expressing their own displeasure at some basic human rights.With this in mind, i have decided to start Jarron’s Bad Bible Bits. In short, I’m going to post a particularly nasty bit of the bible each day, to demonstrate that holy books are at best revised forgeries with cruel teachings.
THESE ARE ALL REAL AND CAN BE FOUND IN MOST MODERN BIBLES.
